In September 2018, 3dpc introduced enhancements to streamline user interactions. The update included a more accessible purchase button feature and file organization now automatically sorted alphabetically in the file browser.

3dpc offers a fully customizable control panel tailored for OctoPrint 3D printer server software users. Noteworthy features include:

	<li>Adjust size and placement of controls for personalized setups</li>
	<li>Support SSL connections, even with self-signed certificates</li>
	<li>Basic authentication compatibility</li>
	<li>Ability to manage multiple printers (available with the Pro Tools upgrade)</li>
	<li>Prevent iOS device sleep mode during operation</li>
	<li>Toggle between dark and light mode interfaces</li>
	<li>Various interactive controls for actions such as web stream viewing, file browsing, printer functions, status monitoring, and temperature control</li>
	<li>An exclusive Pro Tools package offering features like support for multiple printers and Gcode management options</li>
	<li>Subscription model to remove advertisements and support ongoing development efforts</li>
	<li>Compatible with both iPads and iPhones in portrait or landscape orientations</li>
</ul>

3dpc is supported by ads. Users have the option to purchase an Ad-Free Subscription through their iTunes account. The subscription renews automatically but can be managed through iTunes Store settings. Pricing ranges from $0.99 per month to $8.99 per year, varying by region.
